Where is Homson Now?
¡Hola from sunny Seville, Spain!
Starting May 18th, I will have officially touched down in this vibrant Andalusian city, ready to soak up the sun, savor the tapas, and explore centuries of history. Think of it as a real-life “Where’s Waldo?”, but with fewer red stripes and more flamenco. 😉
Why Seville?
I’ve always been drawn to Spain’s rich culture, stunning architecture, and passionate spirit. Seville, the capital of Andalusia, embodies all of that and more. From the iconic Giralda tower and the sprawling Alcázar palace to the lively flamenco performances and mouthwatering cuisine, there’s something here for everyone.
What’s on the Agenda?
My Seville itinerary is packed with exciting adventures:
- Exploring the historic Santa Cruz neighborhood, a labyrinth of narrow alleys and charming plazas (perfect for a game of hide-and-seek!).
- Wandering through the sprawling Real Alcázar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a masterpiece of Mudéjar architecture (rumor has it, there might be a hidden courtyard or two…).
- Admiring the Gothic grandeur of Seville Cathedral, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and the final resting place of Christopher Columbus (no treasure maps here, but the stained glass windows are a sight to behold).
- Experiencing the passion and energy of a live flamenco show, a true expression of Andalusian culture (olé!).
- Indulging in the city’s culinary delights, from tapas hopping in traditional bars (hint: keep an eye out for the best tortilla de patatas) to savoring fresh seafood at riverside restaurants.
- And of course, getting lost in the city’s vibrant atmosphere, soaking up the sun in its beautiful parks, and discovering hidden gems off the beaten path (the real “Where’s Homson?” challenge!).
